Norfolk Deck P1 Updated Maintenance - For Faculty, Staff, and Students 

Due to the upcoming weather conditions, the final phase of the restriping project for the Norfolk P1 Parking Deck and the construction that was scheduled for this weekend in Rutgers Newark Health Lot 4A (48 12th Ave, Newark, NJ 07103) have been rescheduled to the weekend of May 3 and 4, 2025.

Updated P1 work schedule: Friday evening, 5/2, the following levels will be closed:
Yellow levels A, Green level A-1, and Blue level A-2 will reopen end of day Saturday, 5/3

All this work is weather dependent; we will provide you with updates on the progression of the work and when the maintenance is complete. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience while these repairs are completed.

The final phase of the restriping project for the Norfolk P1 Parking Deck involves line painting on several levels of the parking deck. Please remove your vehicle from the noted areas below.  

Please see the work details: 

• Friday evening, 4/18: the following levels will be closed- Orange B, Red C, and Purple D and are scheduled to reopen on Saturday, 4/19 
• Monday, 4/21: Green level A-1 2 full rows of parking under the housing building closed - reopen end of day Thursday, 4/24 
• Friday evening 4/25: the following levels will be closed- Yellow levels A, Green level A-1, and Blue level A-2 - reopen end of day Saturday, 4/26

Please note that while levels B, A, A-1, and A-2 will be closed to parking, the drive aisles will remain open for traffic.
